Cedar Point is the ideal location for your family’s summer getaway with more than 150 rides, shows and attractions on 364 acres. Voted the “World’s Best Amusement Park” for 12 years running, Cedar Point features the world’s largest collection of roller coasters, 17 in all, along with 58 other rides.

New for 2010 is Shoot the Rapids, a thrilling water adventure for the whole family. Climb aboard and immerse yourself in one of the wildest river expeditions this side of the Appalachians! Shoot the Rapids features two unique lift hills that drop you into roaring river rapids. You’ll even encounter some surprises along the journey.

Families with young children find plenty to enjoy at Cedar Point. Four delightful areas are designed for little ones who prefer milder thrills. The newest is Planet Snoopy, with seven rides and special live appearances where children can meet their favorite PEANUTS™ characters.

Snoopy is also featured in an ice-skating extravaganza in the Good Time Theatre.  “All Wheels Extreme” amazes guests with energetic performances by stunt bikers, skateboarders and rollerbladers. High-energy live musical shows are also debuting in three more theatres. Finally, the night comes alive with the enchanting “Starlight Experience,” which transforms the Frontier Trail into a sparkling wonderland of lights and music.

In September and October, HalloWeekends is another reason to scream at Cedar Point. Coaster thrills combine with spooky chills and monstrous fun for little ones in a family-friendly atmosphere.

Don’t miss the Monster Midway Invasion Celebration, a delightful HalloWeekend parade that appears every Saturday and Sunday. You can also experience live musical shows touched by the supernatural, visit holiday attractions designed just for young children – including the Magical House on Boo Hill – see monsters and other costumed characters roaming the midways and enjoy spooky and silly Halloween decorations.

For intense Halloween fun, stay after dark and explore creepy haunted houses and five terrifying haunted walk-throughs, where gruesome Screamsters stalk the fog-shrouded midways.

Stay at the Cedar Point Resorts and enjoy “Early Entry” – an extra hour to experience select rides before the park opens to the public.
